When All the Birds Are Gone

Please come see Kim Walker's BFA Thesis Exhibition "When All the Birds are Gone." She is not only one of my most cherished friends, but she is also an amazing artist who's work has always inspired me to try harder as an artist.

The opening reception is tonight, Monday, November 2, at 5pm.

Hooray!

Today has been totally rad! I got to hang out with my sweetie, see the outside of my new apartment, and Law and Order CI is filming on my road! I saw Jeff Goldbloom! It took every ounce of energy in my body to prevent me from running over to him to squeeze him. He was like, three feet away from me :D

Also, you can see the statue of liberty from my road really well! I can't wait to have people visit! I'm on cloud nine!!! HOORAY!!!!!

Today is my last day in Fairbanks! I'm so excited I keep throwing up in my mouth! Okay, not really, but I am certainly giddy. I have much to do throughout the day today, so I probably won't be able to see anyone before I head out. However, if I have some extra time I'm going to text everyone and force you to have a drink with me. Yes? Yes.

If I don't get to see you it's not because I don't love you. It's because I'm a procrastinator...and should be punished.

Puppy Doing Absolutely Nothing! In a Sweater!

Oh hai. It's me...Shaaaaayna.

If you've been wondering where I've been, the answer is inside my little dry cabin tucked away in an enchanted forest. I'm without internetz, hence my lack of tom-bloggery. Tricklings of entries may occur here and there, but believe you me...I will write with full force come November, as Jess (my bff) and I will be venturing to the big apple from this little Alaskan town. Adventures shall ensue, my friends...oh how the adventures will ensue...
